If you could teach your clients or partners one thing to improve research outcome and action-ability, what would it be? How would you teach it to them?

This first Intellus Worldwide Institute brings the best of cutting edge solutions to our global community of insights and analytics brightest minds. Nearly 300 healthcare insights professionals will meet to collaborate, discover, and forge partnerships to support ongoing business needs. Participants will learn from trailblazers in the industry about practical execution of the most innovative and significant solutions.

Attendees will participate in peer-reviewed sessions including engaging “big picture” keynotes, 40-minute actionable breakout sessions led by industry experts, client-led round table discussions, poster sessions and our annual awards dinner recognizing this year’s most impactful industry leaders. Where appropriate, cross-sector examples will be used to illuminate ways in which other industries have implemented progressive solutions. Our agenda will include tracks appropriate for leaders, experienced insights practitioners, young professionals and students.

Intellus Worldwide will showcase your very best work and provide the attendees with cutting-edge opportunities to learn. Submissions for sessions and posters that showcase the following will be considered:

• Impactful applications of new technologies
• Combining new methods and techniques to meet the ever-changing needs of decision makers
• Case studies demonstrating the effectiveness of your approach

Our selection committee will select 12 sessions and 8 posters for the 2018 Institute. Your submission should succinctly explain why your work should be recognized as the best and brightest the industry offers. Specifically explain the so what, now what and what next:

• How your solution is different
• Demonstration of the actionable results of the method
• Why it would be considered to be at the leading edge
• How your session will be presented in an innovative way to encourage participant interaction and feedback

Submissions should follow the guidelines in this document and will not be accepted late. These guidelines list important information needed to prepare comprehensive submissions and a list of topics in high demand from our members.

All presenters must be confirmed and named in the submission.

Speaker Timeline:

· June 22 - All proposal submissions received

· Aug 3 - Notification of Committee selections

· Sept 4 - Initial slides due for Committee review

· Sept 7 - Rehearsals complete

· Sept 14 - Final slides due, if slides are not submitted on time, the session may be canceled.

Session can be specific to medical device or diagnostic researchers. Sessions can also be interactive and designed to engage participants in lively discussions that allow them to collaborate with each another to solve problems or brainstorm collectively. Special consideration on posters will be given to students / faculty in programs related to healthcare marketing/marketing research.

Note: Turn-around time to prepare your slides will be very tight. Failure to meet these deadlines could result in removal from the agenda.

Presenters are strictly prohibited from “selling from the podium.” Speakers should present informatively and minimize the promotion of products and services. Case study examples must have approval from companies that own the products referenced. All information must be shared in a professional, constructive and educational manner. Slides are reviewed and approved by committee mentors during the rehearsal process. The process adheres to a strict deadline. Failure to comply with the process and professional conduct will result in canceling the session. Furthermore, speakers who violate this policy will be barred from presenting in the future.

Intellus Worldwide is unable to waive the conference registration fee or fund any associated travel expenses. A discount of $400 off the conference registration fee will be offered to all presenters who attend the conference.

Intellus accepts sponsors for a limited number of student travel stipends to support student/academia attendance and poster presentations involvement. Priority is given to full-time students working towards a degree in healthcare marketing or marketing research. If you would like to sponsor a student, please contact heidi@intellus.org.
