Behavior Standards

Unfortunately, we have received complaints from client/manufacturers about ultra-aggressive sales people at the Summit and they have stated they will not return to the conference if they are subject to this treatment.  While we acknowledge most attendees conduct themselves professionally, please remind all your company representatives of how best to represent themselves with the utmost professional etiquette.  Our goal is to improve client attendee experience and we need your help.  

Please consider the following when engaging:

  • Do not approach attendees if they are otherwise engaged (talking with others, checking email, talking on the phone, checking in at the hospitality desk, attending a session, watching a demo)
  • Do not yell across the expo from your booth to get a client's attention
  • Do not approach them in personal areas such as the restrooms or as they make their way to their hotel room
