A Message from the Program Committee
Dear Friends and Colleagues:
Acceleration, change and uncertainty have become terms de rigueur in our industry. Whether a research user or provider in pharmaceutical, biotech, device or diagnostics, keeping up with new trends, technologies and regulations has become increasingly challenging. As the healthcare industry attempts to deal with this constant state of flux, how can marketing research increase its relevancy and value?
The 2012 PMRG Annual National Conference at the JW Grande Lakes in Orlando on March 25-27, 2012 will answer that question. Rev Up Your Innovation Engine focuses on the future - helping all of us in this industry determine which trends are most impactful. Our incredible keynote and general session speakers will challenge members to look past today’s trends and into tomorrow’s.
Daniel Burrus, author of Flash Foresight, will start off the conference by discussing seven ways to incorporate innovation into an organization. In this presentation, Daniel will cover opportunity management, identifying the driving forces of predictable change and driving growth strategies from the inside out. He is considered one of the world's leading technology forecasters and is a strategic advisor to Fortune 500 companies helping them to see opportunities and solve seemingly impossible problems.
Bob Kodzis, President of Flight of Ideas, will teach us to Harness the Power of Change and tell us how to escape the rut of old habits, avoid the inevitable crash that comes when operating on autopilot and steer clear of the perils of complacency. Whether evolution, revolution or renaissance, Bob feels that change can be good; especially when we create it ourselves.
The Digital Health Coalition and Market Research Executive Board will round out the general sessions with discussions on the future marketing research environment including topics on emerging trends in the marketplace, regulatory changes and the uses of social media in marketing research.
Attendees will walk away from the 2012 PMRG ANC with a more complete understanding of creativity in the workplace, how innovation affects them and how they can build stronger teams and enhance their current offerings by knowing what the future holds. The complete agenda will be announced the week of December 20.
In addition to the agenda's exceptional content, there will be ample time to socialize with your colleagues and meet new members and attendees from across the industry – beginning with Sunday’s welcome reception and culminating with Tuesday evening’s Universal CityWalk event. Additionally, the consultant fair will provide one-on-one interaction with 85+ suppliers.
Most sessions will be eligible for PRC certification. See the PRC website just prior to the conference for details.
