SHAPING WHAT’S NEXT:
Leading Through New Pressures, New Possibilities and New Ways of Working

Empowering insights professionals at every career stage to lead through change, shape the evolving role of research and create greater value in a human + AI world.

The insights profession is at an inflection point. Expectations are rising while timelines and budgets are tightening. AI is transforming research workflows, expanding what can be accomplished and prompting difficult questions about the future of our roles. The challenge is no longer simply whether we adopt new tools, but how we redesign the work, build the right capabilities and preserve the judgment, context and humanity that give insights their value. These pressures and opportunities are central to the discussion for the 2027 Summit.

Leadership in this environment is not defined by title, tenure or responsibility for a team. It is demonstrated through the choices we make, the questions we ask and our willingness to influence strategic shifts in the moments that matter. Whether entering the profession, managing research, leading a function or advising the C-suite, every professional involved in delivering insights has a role in shaping what comes next.

The future is not human versus AI. It is about defining what effective human + AI collaboration should look like. Which activities can we confidently hand over to technology? Where must human judgment remain central? How do we protect quality, representation and trust while taking advantage of greater speed and scale? And as AI assumes more executional work, which human capabilities become even more important?

At the 2027 Intellus Summit, we offer our members a transparent and consultative forum for clients, agencies, panelists, and data providers to explore the new pressures facing our profession, assess whether we are equipped to respond and discuss the evolution of insights.

The opening keynote and closing workshop from Vince Molinaro will reinforce this journey by giving participants practical tools for leading strategic shifts, operationalizing capabilities, influencing decisions and defining how they will personally show up differently when they return to their organizations. The sessions are specifically designed to be relevant to professionals at every career stage, including those who do not hold formal leadership titles.

We invite bold, practical and thought-provoking presentations that confront the industry’s most difficult questions, challenge assumptions and help our community confidently chart what comes next.

Session options include:

1) 45-min session of 30 min knowledge sharing plus 15 min of interactive round table discussion
2) 10-min demos or short stories to main audience
3) 8-min micro presentation during client-only lunch.

Sessions with client co-presenters receive 2x the participation and client presenters receive complimentary membership/registration for the conference.  Connect with your partners now to develop your outcomes-based/use case presentation submission, due December 17.
